The Hisense IEEE 802.3z compatible duplex transceiver product line has been designed for a wide range of applications in multi mode or single mode high-speed LAN data communications equipment. They are powered by a single 3.3 volt DC supply and are available in 850 nm, 1310 nm or 1550 nm versions covering ranges up to 120 km. They operate at 1250 Mb/s and meet the 1000BASE-SX, 1000BASE-LX or 1000BASE-LH requirements.
The industry standard 2x5 small form factor (SFF) or 2x10 small form pluggable (SFP) packages, which incorporate the LC duplex optical interface, are fabricated with a rugged die cast metal housing and cage assembly. The transmitters feature a high performance 850 nm VCSEL, 1310 nm F-P or 1550 nm DFB laser assembly. The receivers incorporate a high performance P-I-N or APD and detector assembly. The SFF single-ended LVTTL compatible control functions include Rx Signal Detect (Rx_SD) and Tx Disable (Tx_DIS) whereas the SFP versions control functions include Rx Loss of Signal (Rx_LOS), Tx Disable (Tx_DIS), Tx Fault (Tx_FAULT). The 1310 nm and 1550 nm SFP models include the I2C 2-wire serial ID interface (MOD_DEF 0-1-2) and the 8472 extended data feature set. The differential AC coupled Tx and Rx data interfaces (50 ohms to ground, 100 ohms line to line) are LVPECL compatible.
