The Hisense bi-directional E-PON transceiver modules have been designed point to multi point (P2MP) Fiber to the Home, Building or Curb (FTTx) systems employing high-speed burst mode TDM receivers/transmitters in symmetrical duplex 1250/1250 Mb/s data links. They are based on the IEEE 802.3ah 1000BASE PX-10/PX-20 specifications for bi-directional communications and incorporate advanced feature sets that enable low cost, high performance FTTx deployment.
The ONU subscriber-side transceivers are configured with 1310 nm sub-50 nanosecond burst mode transmitters and 1490 nm CW mode receivers for twoway data communications over a single fiber. The OLT head-end transceivers are configured with 1310 nm sub-50 nanosecond burst mode receivers and 1490 nm CW mode transmitters.
